Έλληνας αστυνομικός σκοτώθηκε εν ώρα καθήκοντος. Πυροβολήθηκε καθώς φρουρούσε το δικαστήριο Λεμεσού. Ο Μακάριος χαρακτήρισε τον δράστη εγκληματία και προδότη, διασύροντας την Κύπρο.
A Greek police officer was killed on duty. He was shot while he was guarding the Court in Limassol. Makarios stigmatized the offender as criminal and traitor, for vilifying Cyprus.
