Mr. Fletcher Cook started discussions concerning the Constitution with the Ministry of Colonies
Abstract
The colonial secretary Mr. Fletcher Cook in his meeting with the colonies sedentary deputy, mentioned the problem concerning the prelusion of Constitution in Cyprus. Experts say, that Cypriots must find a way to accept the Constitution and implement it, in order to follow a course of self-government. Nevertheless, London anticipates that a vast number of Cypriots, after the United Nations adjudication, will understand that unification with Greece is not profitable and would rather co-operate for the implementation of the new Constitution.
