Abstract
The court questioning, by the special judge Mr Ellison, started yesterday and will continue today concerning the case of Fouat Houssein. Houssein is a policeman from Nicosia, accused of murdering Houssein Hasan, also from Nicosia. The accused, in his deposition to the court, stated that "I was passing by Hasan's house when he called me in. I went into the house and he asked me to engage in illegal sexual intercourse with him. I didn't want to and he insisted. We got into a fight and I hit him with a chair 3-4 times and he died."
