Ομάδα Μουκτάρων και Αζάδων από την Αμμόχωστο ανανεώνουν την παραίτηση τους και δηλώνουν ότι "δίδομεν όρκον εν ονόματι της Ελευθερίας της Πατρίδος μας, [...] ουδείς εξ ημών θα αποδεχθή οιονδήποτε Κυβερνητικόν αξίωμα εν όσω το δύσμοιρο νησί μας θα ευρίσκεται υπό ξένην κυριαρχίαν", αναγνωρίζουν τον Μακλαριο Γ' ως τον μόνο αντιπρόσωπο του Ελληνοκυπριακού λαού, τάσσσονται υπέρ της Εθναρχίας και δεν θα διστάσουν να αποκηρήξουν όποιον χαράξει διαφορετική γραμμή από αυτή τησ Εθναρχίας.
A team of Muhtars and Azas from Famagusta renew their resignation and declare that "we give oath in the name of Freedom of the country, [...] none of us will accept any Government post while our poor island is under foreign domination", they recognise Makarios III as the only representative of the Greek Cypriot people, they ally fully with the Ethnarchy and they will not hesitate to denounce whoever draws a different line from that of the Ethnarchy.
