Εξαιτίας των Τουρκικών βιαιοτήτων, Έλληνες πολιτιφύλακες αναλαμβάνουν καθήκοντα φρουρών στο Κτήμα. Αντιπρόσωποι των διαφόρων σωματείων έστειλαν επιστολή στην Ελληνική Κυβέρνηση, τον Εθνάρχη και τον Κυβερνήτη. Επίσης, αναφέρεται ότι εθελοντές φρουροί δέχτηκαν επίθεση από Τούρκους.

Due to Turkish brutalities, Greek militia assume guardian duties in Ktima. Club representatives sent a letter to the Greek Government, the Ethnarch Makarios III and the H.M. the Governor. It is noted also that many of the volunteer guardians were attacked by Turks.
