Ο πιο εύπορος Τούρκοκύπριος του χωριού δολοφονήθηκε από ομόθρησκους του. Σύμφωνα με την εφημερίδα, κάποια Τουρκοκύπρια φαίνεται να είπε "καλά να πάθει αφού δεν έδινε χρήματα στην ΤΜΤ".
The most wealthy man in the village was murdered by Turkish-Cypriots. According to the newspaper, it seems that a Turkish-Cypriot woman had said "he deserved it, since he was not giving any money to TMT".
