Abstract

Letters from Dr. KÃ¼Ã§Ã¼k to the prime minister of Turkey, Secretary General of the United Nations, Archbishop Makarios, the mayor of Nicosia, and the Governor of Cyprus, regarding the assassination of Sergeant Abdullah. According to Dr. KÃ¼Ã§Ã¼k, this incident could be a spark for inter ethnic violence in Cyprus. That is why, he is asking the help of the officials for keeping the communities calm.

Dr. KÃ¼Ã§Ã¼k, TÃ¼rkiye baÅŸbakanÄ±, BirleÅŸmiÅŸ Millietlet Genel Sekreteri, BaÅŸpiskopos Makarios, LefkoÅŸa Belediye BaÅŸkanÄ± ve KÄ±brÄ±s Valisi'ne Abdullah Ã‡avuÅŸ'un Ã¶ldÃ¼rÃ¼lmesi sebebiyle yazmÄ±ÅŸ olduÄŸu mektuplarda, bu olaylarÄ±n iki toplum arasÄ±nda Ã§atÄ±ÅŸmaya sebep verebileceÄŸini, yetkililerin halkÄ± teskin etmeleri gerektiÄŸini vurguluyor.
