Οι Τουρκικές εφημερίδες επιτίθενται στους Έλληνες τελωνειακούς επειδή "εκτελούν αυστηρά τα καθήοκοντα τους". Οι Τουρκικές εφημερίδες κατηγορούν τους Έλληνες για παράνομη εισαγωγή όπλων στο νησί. Η Ελληνική πλευρά απαντά στις κατηγορίες της "Χαλκίν Σεσί" και της "Μποζκούρτ" ότι είναι ανυπόστατες.
The Turkish newspapers attack the Greek custom servants because they "strictly do their duty". The Turkish newspapers accuse the Greeks for illegal bringing of weapons in the island. The Greek side says to "Halkin Sesi" and "Bozkurt" that the accusations are not valid.
