Ο Δρ. Αλή έστειλε τηλεγράφημα στον Ινονού τον οποίο προέτρεπε να αντισταθεί στις κακές συμβουλές.Ο βομβαρδισμός της Κύπρου από τους Τούρκους, απέδειξε στον Δρ. Αλή ότι ο Ινονού επηρεάζεται και σε ένα δεύτερο τηλεγράφημα του εκφράζει την θλίψη του γι'αυτήν την ενέργεια.
Dr. Ali sent a telegraph to Inonu and he suggested him to resist to bad advice. The bombardment of Cyprus however made him sent another telegraph and express his sorrow for this action.
