Η "Χαλκίν Σεσί" ασκεί σφοδρή κριτική στον Νιχάτ Ερίμ εξαιτίας των δηλώσεων που έκανε στην Τουρκική Εθνοσυνέλευση. Σύμφωνα με την "Χαλκίν Σεσί" ο Ερίμ αγνοεί τις δολοφονίες και τις βιαιότητες εναντίον των Τούρκων του νησιού και παρουσιάζει ένα προδοτικό ύφος. Ενώ η "Μποζκούρτ" καλεί τον Ινονού να πάρει αποφάσεις.
"Halkin Sesi" criticized fiercely the statements by Nihat Erim in the Turkish National Assembly. According to "Halkin Sesi" Erim ignores the murders and the brutalities committed against the Turks of the island and he presents a trator face. "Bozkurt" on the other hand calls Inonu to take some decisions.
