Με αφοÏμή την εκστÏατεία εναντίον της χαÏτοπαιξίας Ï€ÏοσωπιδοφόÏοι μπήκαν σε χαÏτοπαιχτική λÎσχη στην Λευκωσία και Ï€ÏοÎÏ„Ïεψαν τους παÏιστάμενους να σταματήσουν να παίζουν χαÏτιά. Ιδιοκτήτης λÎσχης ξυλοκοπήθηκε γιατί ενεÏγοÏσε ενάντια στην ΕΟΚΑ, ενώ Îνας ÎμποÏος ξυλοκοπήθηκε επειδή δεν συμμοÏφώθηκε με τις οδηγίες σχετικά με την Παθητική Αντίσταση.
Due to the campaign against gambling EOKA fighters entered a gambling club and suggested the players to stop playing cards. A club owner was beaten because he was acting against EOKA, while another tradesman was beaten also because he didn't comply with the directions concerning the Passive Resistance.
